Are any tools needed for installation?
No tools or any hardware is needed to install RV Deck. Please follow the recommended cleaning procedures prior to installation.
How do I know what size to order?
RV Deck is customize to fit Lippert and MorRyde steps. Simply measure the width and depth of your steps and order accordingly. RV Deck can also fit any RV steps and can be cut down in any direction to fit any step size.
Is the fabric waterproof?
The Clever Cover is made of waterproof vinyl textured performance fabric.
Is the electric plug pouch waterproof?
The top of the plug pouch is heat melted instead of stitched. This ensure that no water can penetrate through the seams.
Just installed so haven't had them on long. They seem to be constructed well, and adhesive is 3M so expect them to stay attached. I'm sure our Labrador Bella will be much comfortable using them.
Long over due on my review! Purchased and received my steps last fall, if the weather was right, rv steps weren’t on my mind. Boy do I regret the delay! I removed the old skimpy strips that were original to the steps one day. Washed steps in the sun the next day. I let the steps dry for a couple hours in the sun. Less than 10 mins the new best improvement was made! I removed the backing and placed them into place. I highly recommend this product and see it as an upgrade to our steps. We have found the steps are much quieter and we can walk barefoot on them now.

I found out about these step covers from a Facebook rv group. I saved the screen shot of her review. We bought a new rv, with steeper steps and I was worried about our older dog going up and down the new stairs. These step covers were easy to install. They look fantastic!! We bought a second set for our back RV steps. After about a month, my husband just purchased 2 more step covers for inside the camper. I highly recommend this product. Customer service was excellent with our questions and needs.
