I purchased this camper trash after a failed experience with a cheaper model I haven't put it to the test yet but so far I love the trash bag clips to hold up the bag. The center divider is removable for one large bag. It comes with a carrying bag, even though it does collapse and can clip to stay collapsed. It does pop up well and seems much sturdier and better materials.

This bin is incredibly high quality and the business even included the cutest wooden cutting board with my purchase. I cant say enough good things about the company and its a great product too. After researching collapsible trash cans for our camper, this one went to the top of the list. Unfortunately, due to supply chain issues they were out of stock. I contacted Trailersphere to find out when more would be available. The owner of the company, Avi, sent me a nice email proimising to contact me when they had new stock. That was on Nov 16, 2021. I never expected to hear from him again, but on Jan 7, 2022 I received another polite email indicating that a limited supply was now available. He wasn't kidding, there were about 10 in the Amazon store, but I quickly grabbed one and emailed him to thank him for the heads-up and to let him know that I placed an order. In comes another email from Avi thanking me for the purchase and notifying me that my order will come with a gift!The Bin came in about 6 days later, along with the gift...a bamboo cutting board from the Gone Camping Collection. Such an incredibly nice gesture. I don't know if that is a standard thing for them to do, but it certainly was very much appreciated. We will put it to good use.Now about this cool product. All of the features appear to be exactly as advertised in the store. It comes in a clear vinyl storage bag with a decent zipper, much like a collapsible pool raft, that clearly shows off all of the features. The lid and body are 18 inches in diameter. Closed it 18 inches wide and a little less than 3 inches high. Unbuckle the two sturdy nylon buckles on the sides and it will easily but slowly expand up to a full height of 24 inches (Hint: it will expand more quickly if the main zipper on the lid is opened slightly to allow air to flow in faster). The body and lid are constructed of a heavy duty (~600 denier) Cordura nylon. There are two carry handles on the sides made from thick nylon webbing, the same as the webbing used to reinforce where the metal hoops keeping the barrels shape are sewn in to the top, base, and side. The side hoop is basically a long spring that spirals around the outside from the base to the top allowing it to open and stand up without other support. The lid zips open almost all the way around on a moderate-duty two-way zipper with large pulls and a rubberized water-resistent cover over the track. The same kind of zipper is used for the storage compartment on the lid, which could easily store a dozen kitchen-size trash bags.Inside, the nylon shell has a waterproof rubberized lining to prevent leakage. Two small vents at the top of the barrel allow air to circulate but they are screened to prevent insects from getting in. Around the inner rim of the barrel are 8 plastic clips to hold the bags in place, one white set for trash and one green set for recycling. There is a removable divider that can be snapped into place to separate the trash from the recycling. One of these was broken when I received it, but I sent Avi an email letting hi know and he readily agreed to have a replacement clip mailed to me. Lastly, it came with a stake to secure the can to the ground using one of several loops sewn into the bottom on the outside.There are only two things so far that I think could use improvement: the first is that when using two bags, they tend to hang a bit loose in the center at the divider...it would be good to have another set of clips on the divider (I just use a big document binder clip to secure my bags to the divider); the second is the plastic clips, which might be a little too fragile for the application, but these could easily be replaced with metal suspender or garter clips (or binder clips) as the plastic ones get broken from use. Personally, I don't really need the bag storage compartment at the top of the lid, since I tend to keep spare bags at the bottom of the can anyway, and would prefer to have an easy-access port there instead so it isn't necessary to open the entire lid to throw something away. I might make this mod to mine, but it's not something that I think needs to be changed to the design.Overall this is a very well designed product and its construction seems to be very sturdy. The customer service is probably the best and most personal I have received from any vendor on Amazon. I would definitely buy this again (possibly for a dirty clothes hamper) and would like to see their product line expand.

Had the thinner walled collapsible camp garbage can before, it lasted till a squirrel really wanted in. This heavy duty folds down well. By simply unzipping it 1/2 way, you get a lid that keep the bugs out by just letting it flop back closed. I think paying a little bit more up front will pan out by lasting longer.

Love this bin! I use one side for recycling and the other for returnables. I can keep it outside the camper. I have had quite a few people ask me where I got it at.

This was a perfect addition to our camping gear. It is made of a fabric that will last for years unlike previous ones that we have bought that are so thin. Love the internal clips to hold the bag or bags up and the pouch was cool to pack extra bags for the trip.

Purchased for times when rv-ing when there is no out door trash can. Folds down flat. Sometimes use it for laundry. You put a trash liner in it. It’s super Sturdy

I honestly wasn't expecting it to be this durable. It's pretty heavy duty and the carrying case seems to be pretty durable as well.

Nice heavy duty material vs. cheaper pop up cans I've used in the past. The coil spring could be a little stiffer. otherwise, no complaints!

I love this!! We camp a lot and would usually throw our cans in the same trash bag just because it was easier that way. We live in a state where we have to pay a bottle deposit so every can we don't recycle costs 10 cents . Now we can separate our trash/recycling and bring our cans home. Win win!! Not to mention this tote is really sturdy, comes with storage pocket for extra garbage bags and a zip lid to keep out bugs. Highly recommend to all my camper friends!

Made of great material. We keep it staked down at our campsite. We’ve had a couple of skunks try to get inside during the middle of the night but so far have failed.

This is the Rolls Royce of pop up trash cans! We had a camco one and a squirrel ate through it. When I went searching that same one was sooo expensive and had ZERO features. This is around the same price and has EVERYTHING. STURDY Clips to hold the bags, indestructible material, place to hold extra bags! It’s just awesome get it!

While we purchased this a long time ago, we just used it today. High quality product, love the half recycling half trash option! The bag clips did their job! And the cutting board was a lovely surprise!

My family has started going on more camping trips, and on each one, I have the engineer's impulse to find things we can improve to be more comfortable next time. One of the minor annoyances I was hoping to solve is not having a trash can on site. Sure, we could knot up or hang a trash bag from a picnic table, but we were constantly having to reach in to open it up, and it would often flop around. I worried about animals getting into the garbage at night, so we generally needed to walk it over to the dumpster even if it wasn't full, wasting bags. Plus, I like to save my aluminum cans and take them to the recyclers for cash and because people constantly confused the bags I found myself digging trash out of one and placing it into the other (I've found this is actually somewhat worth your while -- it was going to be my 6 year old's "job" and he'd get the proceeds, but he quickly demonstrated himself unable to live up to the responsibility. I couldn't stop doing it, though, since the first time we took a load we got $50 -- that the 6 year old got to spend at Target ... that bit he did fine at).So after a trip earlier this summer, I resolved to find a trash solution that would meet the following requirements:1. collapsible, packs down.2. Clips to hold bags open3. Fits 13 gal kitchen bags.4. Ability to hold recycling and trash (or two cans).Many options satisfy 1, and some even satisfy 2 and 3.Even though this is probably the most expensive trash can designed for camping you can find on Amazon (and elsewhere), it's the cheapest option that will satisfy all 4 requirements.I hemmed and hawed a bit, because forty-odd dollars seemed like a lot to satisfy what was really a minor annoyance, but in the end I bought it and took it on our last trip to Tahoe.In short, I was really glad we purchased it. Everyone was happy with the performance -- it was so nice to lift up the flap, toss in some trash, and then drop it back down. No more rummaging through bags to figure out which one was recycling and which one wasn't. I didn't get to test the "animal-proofness" as all food/trash could not be left unattended due to bear presence, but I did value that I could zip it up if I was going to walk away for a few moments. I also found that the ability to stake it down -- not something I originally thought I needed -- was a critical feature. I _love_ that it clips shut instead of being one of those "foldy poppy" things that you have to figure out how to close properly to get inside a too-small carrying case. (That said, it comes with a pretty nice case anyways !).One down side: we found the top "storage" compartment was kind of useless for more than a bag or two if the can is in use. Once the top gets too weighty, it drags the rest of the bag down. Perhaps a stronger underwire would have let us put more stuff in there, but ... not the end of the world.It's pricey, but if you're going to spend $20 to _maybe_ fix the problem, why not spend $40 and be happy with your solution.

This is well made! It has clasps to hold the bags. It is sturdy, strong, easy to put bag in and quick release clips. Well worth the money!

Had several versions of collapsible trash cans for our RV over the years. This is certainly the most ingenious design. The person who designed this must actually camp! Like the two compartments for trash and recycle. Plastic clips attach the trash bags. Everything looks quite durable.

Wish there was a couple more clips to hold the bags but like that I can fit 2 bags and it zips
