This cover is much needed if you have a Stromberg Lift, because the Strombergs eventually let water and rain in allowing moisture and road dirt in the head assembly as they age, and internal rust wins the battle. The first model of this cover we bought did good job of stopping rain and dust, but the older-style plastic window (for the Stromberg Light use), yellowed and cracked. The older model impressed me nonetheless, and I bought this new, improved cover. All I can say is thats it's much improved, and the little window doesn't appear to be an eventual problem. A Recommended buy! I am a repeat customer and not a computer.

Can I drive with the cover on the electric jack?
Yes, the Clever Cover is the only cover that is designed to be driven with. Make sure to secure the safety chain hooks using the snap buttons while driving.
How does it secure to prevent theft?
The Clever Cover has lock grommets and reflective strips to discourage theft and increase visibility at night. The lock secures the cover to the jack, while the reflective strips makes the jack more visible in low light.
Is the fabric waterproof?
The Clever Cover is made of waterproof vinyl textured performance fabric.
Is the electric plug pouch waterproof?
The top of the plug pouch is heat melted instead of stitched. This ensure that no water can penetrate through the seams.
